"Let the Rumpus Begin!"
In honor of the story that took me somewhere else when I most needed it. From its fantasy world, to the scary wild things, and a kid in a wolfsuit that just wants to be rebelious and free... Maurice Sendak's "Where the wild things are" has it all. That said, I decided to make my first fan art illustration, taking inspiration both from the original book, as from Spike Jonze's 2009 film adaptation. All the process below :)
